Abstract
Introduction. Experience with students, studying according to the program of the higher education and search of ways of improvement of physical qualities and physical fitness is presented in the article. The purpose of the present research – determination of efficiency of influence of respiratory gymnastics by K.P. Buteyko method on the level of indicators of physical development and physical fitness of young men of 18-19 years, studying according to the program of the higher education. 40 students (n=40), who were divided into control (n=20) and experimental (n=20) of group, participated in the research. The control group was engaged in physical education three class periods a week, within the educational program of the higher education. The experimental group, in addition to two times a week after the educational occupation used respiratory gymnastics by K.P. Buteyko method. The main objective of the method consists in reduction of need for oxygen and good saturation of the organism carbon dioxide. Five tests were applied to diagnostics of physical fitness: bending and extension of hands in the emphasis lying for 60 sec. (quantity of times), jumps through the jump rope for 60 sec. (quantity of times), long jump from the place (cm), run of 100 m, run of 1000 m. For assessment of the physical state Rufier test, determining the level of operability of heart at physical activity, was used. Upon termination of a pedagogical experiment in control group the obtained data are not authentic. In experimental group we recorded reliable changes of all indicators.
