Abstract
The article considers the functional state of student youth on the example of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics during the period of forced self-isolation associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. The article analyzes the attitude of students to the conditions in which they are forced to study in a remote access format and maintain their physical and psychological condition. The monitoring of the functional state at the initial stage and after a three-month stay in conditions of social isolation revealed a tendency to reduce the satisfaction of students with their physical and mental condition. The proportion of extremely negatively and negatively inclined students to the existing regime of self-isolation increased due to the awareness of the negative impact of this regime on health.
Keywords: functional state, self-isolation, students, pandemic, physical education.
