Features of training of qualified heavyweight boxers

Abstract
The problem is revealed in the organization of training of the qualified boxers, which does not take into account the individual characteristics of boxers in heavy weight categories and the multi-peak competition period during the year. The results of factor analysis of preparedness of the qualified heavyweight boxers are considered. It determined based on the concept of block periodization, proposed by V.B. Issurin, the means and methods of training boxers in heavy weight categories in the pre-competition period: in cumulative, transforming and implementation mesocycles. The methodological techniques of special training of heavyweight boxers based on the method of group individualization are proposed.
