Abstract
Today, the program of the all-Russian sports complex "Ready for work and defense" is very popular not only among the civilian population, but also in the country's law enforcement agencies, especially in departmental educational organizations. The purpose of the study was to prove the positive effect of the tests of the complex "Ready for work and defense" in the educational process of cadets of educational organizations of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia. In the course of the study, we analyzed the results of the TRP complex tests performed by more than 400 cadets. Based on the analysis, we identified tests that cause difficulties when performing them. Based on the Manual on physical training of employees of the penitentiary system (NFP 2001) and instructions for performing tests of the TRP complex, a battery of additional standards was developed for their application in the educational process of cadets. The results of the pedagogical experiment allowed us to assert that the additional standards developed by us had a positive effect in the implementation of the TRP complex tests by cadets.
Keywords: additional standards, GTO complex, cadets, educational process, physical qualities.
