Abstract
The Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Ministry of Education of Russia developed and adopted the joint Order of November 25, 2019 No. 970/639 "On Approval of the Intersectoral Program for the Development of School Sports." The adoption of the Intersectoral Program gave further development of intersectoral cooperation in the development of school sports. The developed Program will contribute to the achievement of the level of involvement of children and youth in physical culture and sports in general educational organizations and organizations carrying out educational activities on the implementation of additional general educational programs of physical culture and sports in order to increase the level of physical fitness of students. Thus, cross-sectoral interaction is aimed at fulfilling the national development goals of the Russian Federation in terms of increasing the proportion of children and young people regularly involved in physical culture and sports, as well as forming an effective system for identifying, supporting and developing the abilities and talents of children and youth.
