Background of preparation of students of the pedagogical university for health-oriented activity in education

The relevance of this study is determined by the request of the state and society, which today is presented to the general education system and teachers. Based on the study of the regulatory documents, the authors state that today there is need for training specialists in the system of higher pedagogical education, ready for health-oriented activities. The purpose of the study is the introduction and testing in the educational process of the pedagogical university, as part of the transition to the standards of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education (3 ++), the module that promotes the formation of competences in students in the field of safe, healthy lifestyle, physical culture of the person, as well as the acquisition of abilities to apply health-saving technology in the professional activities, taking into account the age aspects of the subjects of education. Methodology and organization of the study – to determine the content of the module, the study was carried out covering the basic ideas about health, healthy lifestyles, health conservation factors, and 51 people from the first-year students, who enrolled in the educational programs, developed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education in 2019 were involved in determining the health status of students (3 ++). As a toolbox, the questionnaire "Need voltage" (Z.I. Tyumaseva, A.A. Tsygankov, I.L. Orekhova) and express assessment of the level of physical health (G. L. Apanasenko) were used. Research results and discussion. When developing curricula for the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education (3 ++), direction 44.03.05 Pedagogical education (with two training profiles), the module “Health-saving” is proposed, which involves students, studying a number of disciplines aimed at preparing them for the health-oriented activities in educational institutions. Conclusions. The results of the study suggest that the study of the disciplines of the Health-saving module will allow the students of the pedagogical university of the 1-3 years to form the holistic view of the role of the teacher in the formation of health-oriented world perception among the students of the educational institutions.
