Annotation
The article focuses on the issue of predicting the future achievements of young athletes based only on the scientific approach. Integrity of human beings requires the involvement of additional ways of perceiving, which, in particular, having being implemented in the practice of art. It is also conditioned by the demands of parenting, which in its higher manifestations reaches the level of artistic activity. From this point of view it is essential to find the methods of knowledge acquiring in sports and educational practices that combine the precision of science and the ability of holistic perception exhibited by human art. In this study the attempt is made to present a combination of the scientific cognition methods (correlation and regression analyses) with the artistic perception of children. This allowed highlighting the reference characteristics in the bodily maturation of the child, giving the opportunity to assume the dynamics of its achievements, particularly in gymnastics.
